Basic Steps

In the basic details section, you have to log in important information about a policy, including its name, description and platform details. I’ll give him the name Turn off Internet downloading. You can add a description if you want, as this helps you identify the policy later.

Configuration Settings

In configuration settingsfirst look for the option to added settings via the hyperlink and click on it. This action will open the settings selector. Next, search Internet download for web and select Turn off Internet downloads for web publishing and online ordering guides.

After that, you can close it settings selector window. Once you close the settings window, you will be redirected to configuration settings page. This setting is dead by default. If you want to keep this setting disabled, click it Next choice.

Activate this Policy

To possible this policy, you must enable this Policy. You will find a toggle button there. Move switch from left to right it changes to blue and is labeled Enabled. This indicates that the option is now enabled. Then click Next to continue.

Scope Tag

After configuration tab, you will find scope tag part. In this section, you can add coverage tags for the policy, but they are not mandatory; therefore, I will skip this part and click Next.

Task

In this section, you can specify the groups to which you want to apply the policy. I clicked Add Group under the Include Groups option. When I click Add Group a list of suggested groups appears. I chose a group(HTMD – Test Policy) and it is now visible on the tasks page. After this, click Next to continue.

Final Step

After finishing taskYou will reach the review and create option, which is the final stage of policy creation. You can see all the details about the policy, including basicsspecific, and configuration details. Now, click on Make option then, you will see a notification “Turn off internet download successfully created”.

Device and User Check-in Status

To view the policy status, go to Device > Configuration in the intune portal, select the policy and check if the status is displayed Success (1). Use manual synchronization in the Company Portal to speed up the process.

How to Remove an Assigned Group from this Policy

After creating a policy, if you want to delete a specific group that you selected earlier, you can do it easily. First, go to Device > Configuration policy. In the Configuration policies section, search for and select it policy. In the Tasks section you will find Edit choice and click on. Then, click Delete choice.

How to Remove this Policy from Intune

If you want delete this policy for any reason, you can do it easily. First, look for for this policy Name in configuration section. When you find the policy name, you will see a 3 points menu next to it. Click on the 3 dots, then click Delete knob.
