Windows 11 File Explorer Improvements Faster Launch Background Preloading and Performance Improvements
Although Microsoft has not explained how repair work, it had tested a feature in November that loaded File Explorer in the background to create it open faster. This is optional, and users can disable it by unchecking it“Enable window preloading for faster launch times” in Folder Options under the View tab.
File Explorer Update Improves Speed and Visual Experience
This File Explorer upgrade occurred after May 2025 launch of Startup Boost, an optional feature for Office applications that runs background tasks during system startup to help them open faster. The Windows Insider Program team also said that they are working on creating explorer.exe the process stops more reliably after closing the File Explorer window. Additionally, a fix for bright white flashes when opening File Explorer in dark mode is now rolling out to more Windows 11 Insider.
Windows 11 File Explorer and Xbox Mode improvements
Microsoft first confirmed the issue in December, attributing it to KB5070311 optional non-security updates and states that they can be triggered when creating a new tab, toggling the Details pane, navigating to or from Home or Gallery, or selecting “More details” when copying files. A week later, it said that the issue had been fixed when navigating between pages, but in early March 2026, it stated that it was still working to fully resolve it and had removed the white flash for Beta Channel Insiders when File Explorer was opened for “This PC”. It also introduces new ones Xbox mode on Windows 11 PCs. This update is rolling out to Insiders in the Release Preview channel running Windows 11 24H2/25H2 with Builds 26100.8313 and 26200.8313 (KB5083631).

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
